Cascina Le Doti

The rich winemaking legacy of Cascina Le Doti winery traces its roots back to 1894, when Giovanni Toso acquired Cascina Longoria in the charming town of Neive. While initially dedicated to diverse agriculture, Giovanni quickly recognized the land's profound potential for viticulture and began planting vines. Five generations later, a new chapter unfolds with cousins Alessandra and Davide Toso passionately upholding their family's heritage. A significant milestone occurred in 1991 when the Toso family acquired the historic Farmhouse Le Doti itself, along with prime vineyards in the renowned Bordini cru that majestically surrounds it, truly placing their roots at the heart of Neive winemaking.

With the 2020 vintage, they proudly adopted the name Le Doti, honoring this historically significant farmhouse. This rebranding also marks a pivotal moment, as Alessandra Toso steps forward as the first woman in five generations of the Toso family to lead the winemaking process, bringing her unique vision and expertise to the cellar. Alongside Davide, she introduces innovative methodologies while respecting ancestral traditions. The results are truly beautiful Barbaresco wines that consistently impress with their remarkable linearity, incredible lift, and elegant complexity, vividly showcasing the unique terroir of Neive.
